On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

  1. Pre Kindergarten Outdoor Sports Ages 3-5

    May 17, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Turf Field

    This program will work on the fundamentals of Soccer, T-Ball and other games. The children will work on skills needed to play these games as well as learn about teamwork and sportsmanship in a fun, safe setting.

  2. Junior All Sports Program Grades K-2

    May 17, 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM @ Gymnasium and playground

    A fun and active outdoor program where students will take part in different sports such as lacrosse, soccer, track and field events and t-ball. Two weeks will be dedicated to each of these sports where participants will be introduced to the basics of each game in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere.

  3. Junior Creative Crafts Grades PK-2

    May 17, 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM @ Classroom

    Glue, paint, color, cut, sprinkle, make a mess. It’s all part of the fun! Come and join us and meet new friends, as we create special works of art that you can treasure for a life-time. This class encourages creativity and teaches children to be proud of their accomplishments.

    Routine Foot Care by podiatrist, Dr. David Alper in order of sign-in starting at 10:00 a.m. The cost for this service is $20.00 payable to Dr. Alper. Insurance is not accepted.

    The class is done using a chair (no mat work) and provides a gentle stretch and limbering for the body and a restorative exercise for the mind.

    Sign up for beginners-level computer classes at the Senior Center. Classes meet once a week for an hour, for four weeks. The groups are small, and the pacing is designed for seniors with little or no computer experience.
