On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

WATERTOWN MEMORIAL DAY PARADE - MONDAY, MAY 27, 2013 AT 12:00PM

The parade will proceed down Mt. Auburn Street, turning right on Main Street, and concluding at Saltonstall Park for a closing ceremony. Please join us on Monday to honor the lives and sacrifices of our Military men and women.
