On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens, bread for fish. Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

  1. April Vacation Program

    April 17, 8:45 AM - 2:30 PM @ Gymnasium and Cafeteria

    Children will be divided into groups by grades at the start of the program. They will participate in activities such as basketball, whiffle ball, floor hockey and indoor soccer, etc. In addition, there will be arts and crafts, board games, movies and various special events. Participants should bring a bag lunch, snack and drink. Each participant will receive a Watertown Recreation memento.

    A children's drama program afterschool for grades K through 5. The students will create custumes and accessories, sing and dance.

Senior Center/Council on Aging

    The group meets weekly for support, and to socialize. Individuals weigh in (not mandatory) exercise to a tape, and participate in a talk about nutrition led by long-time volunteer, Evelyn Casey.
