On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

  1. Junior All Sports Program Grades K-2

    May 1, 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM @ Gymnasium and playground

    A fun and active outdoor program where students will take part in different sports such as lacrosse, soccer, track and field events and t-ball. Two weeks will be dedicated to each of these sports where participants will be introduced to the basics of each game in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere.

  2. Junior Creative Crafts Grades PK-2

    May 1, 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM @ Outside of the Cafeteria

    Glue, paint, color, cut, sprinkle, make a mess. It’s all part of the fun! Come and join us and meet new friends, as we create special works of art that you can treasure for a life-time. This class encourages creativity and teaches children to be proud of their accomplishments.

  3. Baton Twirling Classes (III)

    May 1, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM @ Gym

    Participants will learn marching, basic twirling skills and dance moves. Focus is on hand-eye coordination, rhythm, and teamwork. Spring session participants will learn a routine for the parade. Instruction is provided by Miss Tracey Gangi Johnson. We will once again offer three sessions.

Senior Center/Council on Aging


    May 1, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM @ Watertown Senior Center

    We need your donations of tools, collectibles, toys, books, costume jewelry, kitchen equipment, bric-a-brac etc. (no clothes, shoes, computers or TV’s) Please bring your donations to the Senior Center during the week of April 30. Volunteers are always needed too, so please let us know if you can help out.
