On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

    May 5, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Watertown Senior Center

    Our biggest fundraiser of the year is right around the corner! WHEN: Saturday, May 5 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. WHERE: Watertown Senior Center, 31 Marshall St. Admission is still only 25¢ and all proceeds benefit the Senior Center. We need your donations of tools, collectibles, toys, books, costume jewelry, kitchen equipment, bric-a-brac etc. (no clothes, shoes, computers or TV’s) Please bring your donations to the Senior Center during the week of April 30. Volunteers are always needed too, so please let us know if you can help out. And... don't forget to come to the sale, and bring a friend!
