On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

Baton Twirling
Baton Twirling Classes

Description:

 Participants will learn marching, basic twirling skills and dance moves.  Focus is on hand-eye coordination, rhythm, and teamwork.  Spring session participants will learn a routine for the parade.  Instruction is provided by Miss Tracey Gangi Johnson.  We will once again offer three sessions as follows:

Fall: October 5 to December 14, 2010 (no classes 11/2 or 11/23)

Winter: January 4 to March 15, 2011 (no classes 2/22)

Spring: March 22 to May 24, 2011 (no classes 4/19)

Plus the performance in the Memorial Day Parade May 30, 2011
