Cheer Fit is a fun high energy class designed to build strength and flexibility while teaching basics of cheerleading. You will learn how to keep your motions sharp, your dance moves clean and your smiles big. You will learn a fun routine by the end of class. There is no stunting in class. No previous experience required.

Wow your friends and family with pastries made by the best chef in town – YOU! This is a non-cooking class. We will learn to make treats with your favorite fillings and designs; frostings, jellies, jams and cereal. Yup cereal! The best part is that you take your creations home with you.

Children will design and create their own unique masterpieces in a week of workshops. Introduced to sculpting using clay, water colors creating a seascape, stuffed animal making, animation, oil pastel abstract design and playing games with making friendship bracelets and more……..

This program offers unique fitness experience that your child will not find at your local gym or fitness class. We focus on strength and conditioning. Boxing offers a unique and motivating alternative to a standard gym workout. This training regimen combines cardio with strength training along with learning skills necessary to participate in the sport of boxing. 

Come join the specialized designed class to sample six unique art programs. These programs will intrigue any and all artists at their level and transform the ordinary into extraordinary. Children will design and create their own unique masterpieces in six weeks of workshops. Your child will be introduced to sculpting using clay, water colors creating seascapes, abstract painting, animation, oil pastels abstract design and playing games. 

The Show Must Go On is a new drama program offered for elementary students. You can choose Mondays or Tuesdays, the students create their custumes and accessories. They will sing and dance in their show.   

This program will concentrate on basic stroke, forehand and backhand strokes, serving and scoring. We will also include such games as King of the Court, Wipe Out and Dungeons. The coaching staff is headed by Dan Cedrone, WHS Boys Varsity Coach.

Lessons are held daily from Monday through Friday for 50 minutes. Our lessons include forehand, backhand and overhead shots, serving and scoring. July 1st and July 2nd are set aside for placing the students in their proper skills classes.

Summer Months

Grade K – 2nd : 9:00am to 10:00am
Grade 3rd – 5th :10:15am to 11:15am
Grade 6th – 8th : 11:30am to 12:30pm 

$50 residents for a session
$65 non-residents for a session

Watertown Recreation is offering two, two week sessions to learn strength, quickness and speed. We will focus on throwing, jumping, sprints and endurance. We concentrate on overall fitness; plyometrics, agility, coordination and speed drills.
