Description:

Set to music, the participants will experience cheering, dance and/or baton twirling. Participants will learn marching, basic twirling skills, cheer motions and dance moves. Focus is on hand-eye coordination, rhythm, and teamwork. Spring session participants will learn a routine for the Memorial Day parade. Instruction is provided by Miss Tracey Gangi Johnson.

Description:

Celebrate the vitality of life at the Crossroads of the World! Catch the high-spirits and pulse-racing thrills of the World’s Greatest Circus Artists in one ring under our Big Top, where no seat is more than 50 feet from ringside! Watch rowdy pups perform amazing tricks, double trapeze artists soaring high above, a bashful clown, an irrepressible flimflam man, and a juggler extraordinaire; teeter-board acrobats flying through the air, a cavalcade of magnificent steeds, and a couple of amazing wire-walkers suspended in mid-air. The show runs two hours, including one intermission.

Description: Bring a friend or family member to shoot hoops, play a game of volleyball or just get in shape for the next baseball/softball season in our batting cages. This is a great option for those cold winter Sundays.

A fun and active program where students will take part in different sports such as basketball, pillow polo, floor hockey and other group games. Two weeks will be dedicated to each of these sports where participants will be introduced to the basics of each game in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere.

Description:

Description: Students work with instructors who are also professional musicians in the Greater Boston area, perform regularly on their instruments, and have many years of experience teaching children of all ages. This is a tuition based program and is highly recommended for students participating in school instrumental ensembles. Private lessons allow the instructor to focus on the individual needs of each student enabling the student to progress faster and perform in their school ensembles with a high degree of ability, confidence, and enjoyment. One-on-one instruction can help motivate students who are having some difficulties progressing on their instrument and provide challenge to more advanced student musicians.
Students who currently play an instrument during the school day are strongly encouraged to enroll in private instrumental music lessons either through this program or elsewhere. Parents, working with the instructor, determine the length of lessons that best suits the musical needs of the child. Description: The Kindergarten Summer Program for children enter K in the fall and Pequossette Summer Program for children entering the first grade this September through grade eight. The program runs as the first session is 1-week followed by three 2-week sessions from June 30th to August 15th.

Description:

This is a drama/music program for K-6 grade students. The theme is the 1980’s. Students will create their own rock concert and perform it for family and friends.

Description:

We also provide arts & crafts and quiet game time each day. There is also a period provided for those who bring their lunches. Each participant will receive a Watertown Recreation tee shirt.
