On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

Live Well Watertown

Our Mission is to create a network of diverse individuals and organizations who promote wellness for everyone that lives, works, and plays in Watertown. We achieve this by fostering collaboration, influencing policy, and developing programs that promote the health of the community. Task Force for Substance Use Disorders

Watertown Access to Treatment, Education and Resource is a collaborative effort to lessen the impact of substance use disorder on our community in a thoughtful and compassionate manner. Members include physicians, treatment providers, social service agencies, parents, individuals in recovery, residents of the community, clergy, Watertown Health Department, Watertown School Department, Watertown Police Department, Watertown Fire Department, Watertown Recreation Department, and elected officials.
