On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

Administrative Staff Responsibilities
Ken joined the Inspection Department in June 2004. As Inspector of Buildings, he reviews and approves all building applications for compliance with §780 CMR Massachusetts State Building Code, 6th Edition.

In addition to overseeing all building construction within the Town, Mr. Thompson performs annual safety inspections of all commercial establishments and monitors compliance of American Disabilities Act Regulations.
