You will be able to vote in Massachusetts prior to General State Election on November 3, 2020 from October 19, 2020 to October 30, 2020 at Watertown Administration Building. Absentee voting is still available for those who will be absent from Watertown on Election Day, disabled or have a religious belief preventing them from legally voting on November 3rd. Early Voting is available for registered voters who want to cast their votes prior to Election Day. Please make sure you are registered to vote by visiting the Secretary of State’s website: www.registertovotema.com. You with need either a Massachusetts driver’s license or an identification issued by the Registry of Motor Vehicles to apply for voter registration online. Please register by October 14, 2020 to be eligible to vote in our State Election on November 3, 2020.
Early voting can be done in person or by mail. In the Town of Watertown, voting can be done in the Town Administration Building, Town Clerk’s Office 149 Main Street.
As of this point in time, the State has only approved Early Voting for the General State Election. There maybe changes to the schedule for the two prior elections in 2020.

Registered voters have the option to request an Early Ballots through the mail. Please complete an application acquired from the Secretary of State’s website: http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele and mail it to Town of Watertown, Town Clerk’s Office, 149 Main St. Watertown, MA 02472.
Please note, once register voters have cast an Early Voting ballots, voters may no longer vote at the polls on Election Day. Watertown encourages all our citizens to exercise the right and take advantage of the opportunity to vote on their schedules.
