Certified Copies of Birth, Death and Marriage

Certified copies of birth, death, and marriage records may be obtained from the Office of the Town Clerk in person, during regular business hours, or by mail. The fee for a certified copy of a vital record is $10.00 each. If you have additional questions, you can contact the Town Clerk's Office by phone at (617) 972-6486 or by emailing John Flynn.

You can reach the state office of Vital Records in Dorchester at (617) 740-2600 to find out where a record is located if Watertown does not have it.

You can obtain a copy of birth, death and marriage record from the Commonwealth from 1926 to the present. You can also make an inquiry if you do not not know the municipality of the original record you need to obtain.
