Any new updates from Secretary of the Commonwealth will be a communicated on this page related to early voting, new requirements and election dates. 

Voting in Massachusetts

To be eligible to register to vote in Massachusetts you must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Massachusetts, and 18 years old on or before the next election. You may register to vote in person at any local Town Clerk or Election Commission office, at any registration event, or at a number of state agencies, including the Department of Transitional Assistance and the Registry of Motor Vehicles.

Ward and Town Committee Nomination Papers

These papers are available for candidates through the Town Clerk's office as of Thursday, August 1, 2019. These candidates will appear on the  Presidential Primary ballot to be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
