What is GoGo?
GoGo is a service that Watertown Senior Services has partnered with to provide seniors with delivery assistance and local transportation.
Who is eligible to use GoGo?
If you are 65 or over, a Watertown resident, can travel independently or with a caregiver with access to a mobile phone, and your annual income is below $25,000, you may be eligible.
Are there limits to where I can go with GoGo?
There are currently no distance limits for GoGo trips. If you register through Watertown Senior Services, you’re provided a credit toward your trips, which renews monthly. For additional services and or rides, you may add your own payment method.
Is Traveling with GoGo Safe?
GoGo utilizes Uber/Lyft drivers with established ratings of 4-5 stars only.
How do I sign up to use GoGo & what is the signup process like?
You can call 617-972-6490 or visit the Watertown Senior Center and the Program Services Assistant will help you register. The assistant will ask you a number of questions to determine your eligibility to participate in the GoGo program.
These include, but are not limited to, questions about your mobility, emergency contacts, and location.
If determined eligible, the associate will assist you in completing your registration with GoGo.
What kinds of trips can I take with GoGo?
Watertown Senior Services sponsors medical trips like office visits to your physician or pharmacy. You are welcome to provide a secondary payment method (credit card) to GoGo to utilize the service for non-medical trips.
Do I need to call the Senior Center every time I want to book a GoGo ride?
Once you’re registered, you can book your rides directly through GoGo, by phone or online.
What’s the cost to participate in the GoGo program?
There are no fees to participate in GoGo. Registrants will have a $50 credit provided by Watertown Senior Services. Any rides booked that exceed $50 are the responsibility of the user.
