TAXPAYERS MAY NOW SIGN UP FOR E-BILLING: E-Billing
FY19 1st Quarter Preliminary bills are being mailed June 29, 2018. Payments are due August 1, 2018.
The Town of Watertown offers online services and bill payments for the following items:

Payments may be made online with electronic check or credit cards. The Electronic check option using checking account information is available at a $.50 charge by the Payment Service. Credit card payment is available for a convenience fee assessed per transaction by the Payment Service, not the Town.
If your license or registration is marked at the Registry of Motor Vehicles for non-renewal due to unpaid excise tax and you elect to pay the outstanding excise tax online, once the payment has been processed the mark will be released from the Registry of Motor Vehicles within one hour. Thank you.
Merchant Parking Permits:
Merchant Parking Permits for the period July 1, 2019 – September 30, 2019, will go on sale Tuesday, June 18, 2019 – 8:30am.
There are a limited number of permits and they are sold on a first come first serve basis. Limit two per merchant.
All merchants must have no unpaid parking tickets and provide the following documents: valid driver’s license, motor vehicle registration, and proof of employment.
Watertown Parking Management Plan
Watertown is developing a Parking Management Plan for Watertown Square and Coolidge Square. The Plan will take a fresh look at the existing parking supply, demand for parking, and look for creative ways to satisfy parking needs.

MUNICIPAL LIEN CERTIFICATES
The MLC fees for the Town of Watertown residential property have been increased from $25.00 to $50.00 effective July1, 2017.
The fee schedule is as follows:
$50.00 - One, two & three family residential property
$100.00 - Four or more family residential property
$150.00 - Commercial property
Please include a Stamped Self-Addressed Envelope for the timely return of your Municipal Lien Certificate.
