Each day the staff receives almost 100 telephone calls for information or referral. As another major function of this public information office, the staff carries out between 50 and 100 personal transactions in the office. On an annual basis the staff handles well over 12,000 citizen inquiries from both in and out of Watertown.
The City Clerk & Election Department
Both the Office of the City Clerk and the Elections Department work cooperatively to ensure the efficient compliance with all Federal, State, and municipal laws and regulations. The interactive relationship continues to serve the City well. It allows the most efficient use of personnel and provides high caliber service to the public.
