Parking Clerk
The Parking Clerk is located within the Treasurer Collectors office at 149 Main Street Watertown, MA 02472.
Parking Meters are in effect from 8am-8pm daily (except on Sundays and holidays)
There is a city-wide 2-hour on street parking limit throughout the town unless otherwise posted. This is in effect between 7am-7pm daily (except Sundays and holidays).
There is no resident only parking in the City of Watertown, nor are there resident parking permits.

Please ensure your payment is received by the Office of the Parking Clerk within 21 days of violation. Payments received after 21 days will be subject to late fees.
Payments must be made payable to City of Watertown. To assure proper credit, include your registration and violation number on the memo line of your check.

Click Pay Online with Kelley & Ryan and Click the Parking tab under search feature and Enter in the City, License Plate and Ticket number.
Failure to obey this notice within 21 days after the date of violation may result in the non-renewal of the license to drive and the registration of the registered owner. A hearing may be obtained upon the written request of the registered owner or may be disputed by mail if submitted with supporting documentation within 21 days. M.G.L. CH. 90 – Sections 20A – 20C, 20D, and 20E as amended, and may also subject motor vehicle to tow and hold Provisions of Chapter 253 of the Acts of 1973.
FILE AN APPEAL:
Fill out APPEAL FORM OR type a brief statement - Be specific and be sure to include:
YOUR NAME / ADDRESS / PHONE / EMAIL
DATE OF TICKET / TICKET # / LICENSE PLATE # ON TICKET
REASON FOR APPEAL (for example: broken meter, after hours, etc.)
PROVIDE BACKUP (photos, etc.)
EMAIL back to: parking@watertown-ma.gov
Once your appeal is received, the ticket will be placed on hold. All appeals will be reviewed by the Parking Officer. If your appeal is denied, payment must be received at the Office of the Parking Clerk within 14 days to avoid additional fees.
Please note, appeals must be received by the Office of the Parking Clerk within 21 days of violation. Appeals received after 21 days of violation will not be accepted.
