The City is undergoing work to perform water system improvements on Mount Auburn Street ahead of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) roadway project. Work will involve limited water and sewer interruptions to safeguard the City against long-term breaks and backups in our aging infrastructure. Work is not linear and will jump from space to space along Mount Auburn Street, typically near intersections where the water and the sewer mains meet. The work is being done by Commonwealth Construction & Utilities, Inc.
