Absentee Ballot Information

In-Office Voting Hours: During Regular Business Hours
You may request an absentee ballot by:
  • Sending a written request via mail (please include original signature)
  • Or completing an Absentee Ballot Application and returning the application to the Town Clerk's office via postal mail or in-person, or electronically (via fax or email). Fax# 617-972-6595 Email: jflynn@watertown-ma.gov
  • Or call the Town Clerk's to request an Absentee Ballot Application be mailed to you Tel# 617-972-6486.

  • Once your application is received, the Town Clerk's office will mail your an Absentee Ballot. All Absentee Ballots must be mailed to the registered voter.
  • Return the ballot in the appropriate envelopes via mail or in person by 8:00 pm of election day. Your ballot will be counted on Election Day at your designated precinct.
  • You can vote Absentee Ballot in the Town Clerk's office by completing the application and voting at the counter by 12:00 pm the day before the election. Insert your ballot in the envelope to be counted on Election Day at your designated precinct.
