Absentee Ballot Information

In-Office Voting Hours: During Regular Business Hours
You may request an absentee ballot by:
  • Sending a written request via mail (please include original signature)
  • Or completing an Absentee Ballot Application and returning the application to the Town Clerk's office via postal mail or in-person, or electronically (via fax or email). Fax# 617-972-6595 Email: jflynn@watertown-ma.gov
  • Or call the Town Clerk's to request an Absentee Ballot Application be mailed to you.

  • Once your application is received, the Town Clerk's office will mail you an Absentee Ballot. All Absentee Ballots must be mailed.
  • Return the ballot in the appropriate envelopes via mail or in person. Your ballot will be counted on Election Day at your designated precinct.
  • You can vote Absentee Ballot in the Town Clerk's office by completing the application and voting at the counter. Insert your ballot in the envelope to be counted on Election Day at your designated precinct.
